Hypocritical Father and Daughter

"He's waiting for you in the front row," Lilith answered casually.

"Ivy!" Lilith suddenly looked at her with a serious expression, and her gaze was so intense that it made Ivy uncomfortable.

"What's wrong?"

Lilith took a deep breath. "I think I understand why you rushed into marriage with him."

Ivy was taken aback. "Why?"

She averted her eyes, not daring to meet Lilith's gaze, but she couldn't help but wonder if Shawn had said something.

"He's really good to you," Lilith said in a slightly nervous tone. "He's concerned that you might get drunk tonight, so he sent this candy. And he's worried that you might be mistreated. He specifically waited outside to pick you up. Although he can't walk right now, you can't deny that he's handsome and considerate. When he recovers and can walk again, I bet there will be a lot of women chasing after him."

Ivy exhaled a long breath when she realized that Lilith hadn't detected anything unusual.
