29. The Engagement Ring

I was about to turn around, so that the figure who was looking down wouldn't see me coming, but... He looked up and came to me afterward. Dang!

"You love him?"

"Is that important to ask?" I snorted.

"It's important for me."

"You think it's important? Why is that? You and I don't have any relationship other than a coworker and former student-teacher. that'
