Chapter 74

After a few days,

Isabella was working on her laptop, she only had coffee and cookies that morning, and it was almost noon. She had to prepare lunch for Laura before going to pick her up from school.

Isabella retired from her laptop, and shut everything down before getting up and heading towards the kitchen. She started preparing the meal, it's been long since Isabella entered the kitchen.

Most times, Kenneth did the whole cooking. He loved cooking.. Isabella tried to remind herself of the memory she had on a man cooking in the kitchen.

Maybe it was Kenneth, but it seemed so differently when she thought about the memory. The reality didn't have as much of an effect on her as the memory did.

While she was busy inside the kitchen, a loud knock sounded from the door of the living room, making Isabella distracted from her kitchen work.

"I'm coming" she responded loudly, using the kitchen towel to wipe off the water on her hand while she walked towards the living room.

Isabella went ahead
