After a few ringings James answered Chloe's call with his usual cold voice.
"Sorry to keep you waiting honey, I'm on my way there." She honestly said.
Walking as fast as she could out of the mall to the restaurant where he was, she doesn't want to keep him waiting. She doesn't want him to get mad at her.
"Okay, take your time. I'm waiting" he replied coldly yet calm making her sigh in relief.
"I already ordered food, hope you like it." He continued in his usual tone.
"Okay, no problem. I'll eat everything you ordered, I love you." She said sweetly and cheerfully assuring him that she would like what he wants, and a smile was formed in her lips.
She doesn't heard a reply, but it doesn't matter. She was used to it already, although she's dying to hear that word from him, she already taught herself not to expect too much from him, so she won't get hurt.
