110 : A new beginning

Mark stopped by Maynard's house to check up on him after been away for almost two months.

He had seen the news and was so concerned about his friend and also Olivia.

He rang the door bell as he waited for Maynard or Henry to open the door as usual.

As he waited, he could hear some muffled laughter in the house.

"What are those two up to?" he thought silently.

when the door suddenly opened, he saw the last person he expected to see today

"L-Lucy". he stammered as he tried to calm his beating heart.

She looked more radiant than he last saw her.

her cheeks were red and she seemed to have added a bit of flesh.

They maintained eye lock and he felt like disappearing into thin air. What was she doing here?

"Who is at the door??? aren't you guys coming in anymore?". Olivia yelled from the sitting room.

"please, come in". Lucy gave way for him to come in and closed the door.

They both walked into the sitting room.

when Olivia and Maynard saw Mark, the smiles vanished from their faces, includ
