26 : Trapped

As Olivia drove back home, she kept pondering over her conversation with Maynard. Though, that was the last conversation and since then, he didn't try to bother her but didn't stop staring and all Olivia did was just to avoid his gaze.

But something kept lingering in her mind. Maynard had mentioned that Sage loves her, how did he get to find out?

She could recall the last time Maynard showed up at Sage's home. She felt there was something Sage wasn't telling her, how else would Maynard have gotten to know Sage's feelings for her. It couldn't have been just mere thoughts right?

Getting home, Sage looked excited as he invited her over to the dining table where he had just finished making a sumptuous dinner specially for her.

Olivia could have been excited but she wasn't. She wanted to know what's going on and if there's something she has to know.
