44 : Failed Attempt

THAT EVENING

Olivia got off the phone with Lucy who had just advised her to go see Maynard. Right after Maynard left her office, she kept battling with her thoughts.

She kept thinking and contemplating if she should go on the so-called date with him or not. Actually, she didn't want to but like he said, it's only to repay the favor he did by saving her life countless times.

Olivia sought for Lucy's advise and she was advised to give him a chance.

With a sigh, she left for the bathroom to freshen up after reassuring herself that it's just an ordinary date and nothing much, she's not gonna stay long either.

Olivia had a quick bath and dressed up in something beautiful but not really meant for dinner, after all, she's not meeting up with her boyfriend or anything.

She pulled out the gift Maynard had gotten on her birthday and decides to try it on for the very first time. She reassured herself that it's just a gift and nothing attached.
