Chapter 58 Lovelorn

Susan hadn't visited Judy in the past couple of days because she was busy arranging for someone to buy abortion-inducing drugs.

She couldn't let Judy's child come into the world as it would be a threat sooner or later.

Susan replaced the pregnancy-sustaining medicine with abortion pills. The bottle was labeled as calcium supplements, but the pills inside were designed to induce an abortion.

Before taking this step, Susan struggled internally, giving herself a good reason: Judy, being a single mother, would struggle immensely, and Susan convinced herself that she was doing Judy a favor.

Judy was young; her life shouldn't be ruined by a baby.

"Make sure to take these calcium pills on time, Judy. Once you finish them, I'll buy more for you," Susan pressed, her face feigning a worried smile. "I have to go now. You shouldn't bother cooking for yourself, it's so much trouble, just order a takeaway."

As she spoke, Susan's phone rang; the friend she had an appointment with was hurrying her.
