Kirsten gulped, staying in the mansion with Norman was bearable for Kirsten, at least the old man wasn’t harsh unlike Matthew’s parents. Thinking of staying under one roof with Matthew’s parents for a week, it was a plain torture. Just the two encounters she had with Evelyn, Kirsten imagined that one week with them was going to be hell.
However, judging from when the last time she and Matthew came to visit, Matthew had a good relationship with Norman, unlike his restrained relationship with his parents.
“Okay, grandpa. Since Matthew won’t be here, I’ll stay here in his stead.”
