I was back in the waiting area for Mr Stone’s office. Except this time, I was 100 times more nervous than I was before. If that was even possible.
When I’d called Mr Stone on Monday evening, he hadn’t even seemed surprised that I had got back in touch with him. That annoyed me. It was as if he knew I was going to change my mind and accept. However, I had resolved to something. I was not, under any circumstances, going to let him use me. This was all about me. I would be using him. I tried my best to stop trembling. I didn’t want him to know that he’d got to me. I knew something like this would be coming, I just didn’t expect it to be so soon. I breathed slowly, telling myself I just needed to pretend he wasn’t here. I started with my faithful grey hoodie, pulling it over my head and resting it sorrowfully over the back of the chair. Then my boots, and socks. Those were easier. Now it was going to start to get harder from here. If you can overcome being naked in front of someone, wearing the kinds of clothes you were in earlier is going to be a breeze.”I hated to admit it, but that kind of made sense. When Vanessa came round to pick up her meagre supply of make up, she noticed the fancy bags that were sat in the side of my room. I cursed myself for not moving them out of sight.“What the…” She said open mouthed as she began rifling through the bags.I attempted to drag them away from her, but Vanessa had already seen enough to be able to question me.She placed one hand on her slender hip. “So, are you going to tell me what all this is about? After my makeover Adrianne gave me her details so that we could arrange my session. She’d also promised to show me how Jake had managed to make my hair look the way it did. That night I nervously undressed and slipped into a baggy t-shirt, deciding to leave my knickers off. On the way home, I’d debated just not doing it. After all, its not like Mr Stone had secret cameras in my room…at least I hoped not. But something told me he would just know. He had this irritating ability to tell when I was lying or holding something back from him. So, I knew I was going to have to go through with it. I decided to try and loosen myself up by downing a few cheap beers. As I laid down on my bed, I knew I was going to have to think of something, or someone, to make this work. “Mr Stone…” I went to protest.“It’s getting late Miss Woods, I suggest we get started.”I sat there opened mouthed. He was really going to make me do this.“Now, first of all put me on loud speaker so that you don’t have to hold your phone. You’re going to need both hands.” His voice was so clinical, as if he was instructing me how to turn on a washing machine…not myself.Nerves spread through me, although I also noticed a small sense of anticipation. Something about this made me excited. How stupid was that?I placed the phone on my bedside table with him set on loud speaker as he’d asked. He didn’t wait for me to confirm anything, instead just continuing on with his instructions.“I want you to strip off completely. Then open the box and take out the vibrator. It already has batteries inside. Once you’ve got it, lay down on your bed.”

Adrianne met me outside Mr Stone’s building at 3pm. She looked up in awe at the structure.“Wow,” she said simply.I sighed. “Yep.”We made our way up to his apartment, and I braced myself as we rang the bell. He appeared a few moments later. I buckled a little as I took in his appearance. His hair had been perfectly styled away from his face, allowing his light stubble to highlight his angular jawline. A deep blue shirt clung tightly to his body. His top buttons were undone. Something that he didn’t do at the office. Dark trousers, equally as tight as his shirt, left little to the imagination. I didn’t hear anything from Mr Stone after Saturday. I wasn’t sure why I was expecting to, but I did all the same. I realised I wanted him to call me to let me know nothing happened with Emma. That as soon as he found out I knew her he had sent her away. I accepted how ridiculous this was, but it’s what I wished all the same. When I’d agreed to this arrangement, I hadn’t thought about him seeing other people.
