Chapter 47 Wooing Her

After the meal, Whitney went to Violet's room to hang out and play.

It had become true that Carl was the leader of the Night Crawlers. So, Whitney decided not to be sad or complain about it anymore.

She was waiting for a chance to reveal their relationship with Carl. Then, Carl would give up on the terrorist organization for their sake. Then, Carl would be fine.

So, the key was in Violet's attitude toward Carl.

Taking her daughter's hand, Violet spoke. "Baby, I'll do my best to find all the antidotes for you. Then, we'll leave this place.

"We have to go to a place where he'll never find us, even if it means going to the ends of the earth!"

"Mommy," Whitney said, her heart breaking. "I asked Daddy about it. He said that the poison won't harm my body as long as I take the antidote regularly."

"Even medicine can be dangerous, let alone real poison." Violet raised her voice. Then, she softened down and said, "Don't try to put us together again."
