Chapter Fifty Nine

~Adriana’s POV~

I woke up in the middle of the night some days later to the shrill sounds of feminine screams coming from the basement and at first, I had been curious about what was making the sound until I remembered that it could be Massimo Punishing someone the same way he did all those nights ago.

My curiosity peaked when the thought of the fact that the person being punished could either be Jamie or her lookalike struck my mind and I couldn’t help but begin to slowly walk in the direction of the voice.

It was a few minutes past 2am and naturally, I was supposed to be scared but surprisingly I wasn’t. I thought about him saying something about repaying Jamie in her own coins but this thought flew away.

Massimo cannot be dangerous enough to repay this way! Moreover it hasn’t been proven yet that she was the one responsible for the accident that led to me losing my baby.
