"But, are you still in love with him?" Bennett inquired for the hundredth time.

"Shh, he's back," I said, gathering the glass cups on the table when Mavis drove into the car park.

"I don't want to talk about it right now," I said, hoping she would understand my reason for saying so. "I'm sorry if that's rude, but it's just not the right time,"

She nodded, a thoughtful expression on her face. "I understand," she said. "I was just eager and can't wait for us to get to your room and talk freely."
