When Asher's mother was pregnant with her first son, she had a miscarriage after drinking what a maid brought to her. Although the doctor said otherwise, Ms. Florida had her thoughts, so she became cautious since she didn't know who her enemies were. Also, she couldn't get anything out of the maid because her husband had allegedly taken care of the maid.

During her second pregnancy, Ms. Florida found out that her husband was cheating on her. Because of the stress and circumstances of the situation her body was in at that time, she got another miscarriage.

Her husband defended his innocence with tons of evidence, and she forgave him. But in her third pregnancy, a few weeks before she put to birth, news of her husband's infidelity hit her, but she refused to succumb to the pain of heartbreak she bore along with the difficulty of pregnancy.
