Liv watches helplessly as the sheriff loads Owen up in the back of his car and drives away. As she stands there, she hears two officers walking past her, having a conversation about it.
“Yeah, she is the girl that was reported missing a few days ago.” One officer says.
“Damn. Thought so. Looks like Owen is following in his father and brother's shoes. We might want to go check that well. Any time a girl goes missing around here, we are sure to find them at the Murder Motel.” The other one says.

Liv spends the morning going over the profile of the killer with Owen and his parents. They write down what they know for sure happened, which was that the killer or someone inside the motel, stole the master key ring to gain access to all of the motel. They broke into Owen's workshop, his bedroom, and the room with which they killed the woman. Who knows where else they might have gone inside the place. They wrote down what they suspected but couldn't prove. That the killer had someone on the inside, to give them information about where the keys were hidden and which rooms where empty.
