Aurelia's Point Of View

I was tired. Exhausted, really. It felt like an eternity since I had been confined to this desolate, secluded room. The walls were bare, the air stale, and the floor cold against my tired body. I had tried to force myself to sleep, lying there on the hard ground, but my mind was too restless to find any solace in slumber.

Just as I was beginning to drift into a fitful doze, the door suddenly swung open with a resounding bang. Startled, I jolted upright, my heart pounding in my chest. Through the hazy fog of sleep, I struggled to make out the figure standing in the doorway. It was Alpha Dante, my heartless mate. His presence in my tiny prison was both unexpected and perplexing.

Alpha Dante wasted no time. He swiftly strode toward me, his purposeful steps echoing in the empty room. Before I could gather my thoughts or utter a word, he reached out and firmly clasped my hand, pulling me up from the frigid floor. Confusion flooded my mind as questions raced through
