Danciana's Point Of View

I sat on the cold, hard floor of my cramped cell, my mind swirling with worry and fury. Three long and agonizing days had passed since I had been thrown into this wretched place, and with each passing minute, my frustration grew. Had Alpha Dante forgotten about me? Did he even care that I was locked away in this forsaken cell?

But the person who shared the blame for my current predicament was Dylan. We had both harbored the same desire—to separate Aurelia from Alpha Dante. We had thought that by joining forces, we would have a better chance of achieving our individual goals. Yet, here I was, imprisoned and alone. If Dylan had any decency, he should be helping me find a way out of this mess.

Lost in my thoughts, the sound of metal grating against metal snapped me back to reality. The cell door creaked open, and a wave of anticipation mixed with anxiety washed over me. Was this my chance at freedom? I couldn't help but hope.

"Am I free to go?" I asked the guard
