CHAPTER -24 The Game Is On

Angelina took a close look at the wolfsbane and the deadly leaf that she intended to employ in the evening in order to murder Kivvi. Despite the fact that she has committed herself to carrying out the task to kill Kivvi tonight at any cost, she could not help but feel upset about it.

Why did he feel the need to exert so much pressure on her? Wouldn't it have been wonderful if he had told about their wrongdoings right from the start? It would have prevented the loss of so many lives. Why did he feel the need to cover things up and then allow him to continue making the same mistakes in the future?

Angelina's head was spinning with a million and one questions. Kivvi was Jasper's brother, but that wasn't a good enough reason for her to believe that he would cover up for Jasper and his friends, ignore all the mistakes he had made, and continue to protect him, even if it meant risking the lives of countless innocent people. She couldn't understand why Kivvi would do such a thing.
