Chapter Fifty-seven

Charlies POV

I hadn’t spoken to Max in days, mostly because Kiwi was always around and after a couple of days of being here she began having guards follow me around. She never restricted where I went but the only place I was able to go alone was to the bathroom and even then I had to be quick or they would start banging the door down.

Kiwi stuck to her word and began teaching me how to use my powers and not to tie them to my emotions because then I would be able to use them when I wanted, she gave me target practice to throw what she called ‘power balls’ and I was getting quite good, rarely missing and what was more fun was when I practised on the guards following me.

I made sure not to use my full power and instead just stun them but Kiwi was getting pissed that I was using her men and when I fired my last ball she shouted at me, demanding I go to her office immediately.
