039 The Eclipse

The gazebo was nicely decorated with food and drinks, and cushions. There was a big were carpet on the floor of the gazebo. The cushions were placed on the carpet so we could sit closely together. There was also the same arrangement on the carpet grass outside the gazebo for us to sit during the solar eclipse. William had them install a television at the gazebo. I knew it was for my benefit. If anything was going to go wrong, it would be on the news. It was thirty minutes to the Eclipse. Everyone was with us, and we waited.

To my surprise, I saw a staff ushering Alex and Sam to the gazebo. Sam looked tired, and Alex looked happy. William and I got up to hug and greet them. The solar eclipse was showing signs already.

" How did you get here so fast?" I asked Sam, and she yawned.

" We left early, and Alex asked the driver to step on the gas." She explained to me. We all laughed at the eagerness to get to our estate. The deep sleep must have spooked Alex. It did the same to me e
