William did not wait for me to respond to his words. He carried Derek and headed straight to his office. I did not relent. I followed him, and I could swear I heard the mages giggling.

" Why would you say that, William?" I asked him, really angry.

" You heard what I said, Ellis, you are sitting this one out," he said, putting Derek down. Derek ran to his playing section in the office and completely ignored us.

" He is my father, William. I deserve to be there," I argued.

" And you are my wife, my mate, and I said no," he replied, getting angry with me.

" Who made you the boss of me?" I asked him, livid. There was a knock on the door, and William asked the person to enter. It was Audrey, she didn't speak to us, she just carried Derek and left. I could swear she was giggling.

" I am your Husband and your mate." William said.

" And so? That does not give you the right to boss me around?" I replied.

" Ellis, you think this is a joke. You almost died the last time." He said.
