Chapter 4B: The Start Of The Revenge Plan

BELLE/REBECCA POV

I can't believe that when I am about to head home to start the revenge plan, I am stuck in the middle of the traffic. I am so fucking pissed off and it is running my mood.

Honestly speaking, I may look confident on the outside, but inside, I am actually feeling scared and nervous. I was surrounded by many questions popping out in my mind.

"What if they recognized me?"

"How are they going to react?"

"Were they despising me?"

"Is my mate going to break my heart again by staying with my sister?"

"Am I really nothing to them in their eyes?"

Romeo notices my expression through the rear-view mirror and comments. "Rebecca, I may not know what happened to you in the past but you are a strong woman. Do what your heart wants and don't let your guards down. Make those people regret hurting your innocent heart."

"Thanks, Romeo for giving my advice. I will stay strong for everyone's sake! I promise you that I will not let my guards be strong," I smile softly.

"That's my strong favourite singer!" Romeo flashed me a smile.

I smiled at his word and looked out of the window admiring the city view.

"If anything happens, can you let me take control to handle the situation?" Trisha, my wolf, said. 

"I will think about it first because I still don't trust you when you face our mate."

"Okay, but don't do anything bad okay? I do not want the same thing to happen again." She whimpers and I feel kind of bad. 

"Okay, I promise!" She says excitedly.

Basically, two years ago, when I was still emotionally unstable. One day, both of us were so angry that I accidentally let Trisha take control of my body.

She almost killed one of the William guards and because of that, there were times I did not let her take control of my body unless she wanted to go outdoors to run or train our body.

"Rebecca, we are here."

He gets out of the car and opens the car door for me. Once the car door was open, there was suddenly a sweet smell which had a nice honey aroma that filled the air.

Trisha snickers. "Mate!"

"I know it too," I frown and say.

Once I stepped out of the car, I thanked Romeo and he drove the car away to the car parking. I took out my phone from my purse and called William to inform him that I have reached.

After calling him, I went into the house and to the room where they held the party at. When I was about to head there, the smell became stronger and stronger and all the memories that we had come back to me at full force.

I felt dizzy all of the sudden and put my hand on the wall to support myself. I quickly took out my medicine in my bag and swallowed it in my mouth. I calmed myself down until I heard someone calling me.

"Rebecca, are you okay." The person rushed up to me.

Lucky it was Rose who was here to rescue me.

"I'm fine, I just suddenly felt the memories that I had with my mate."

"Are you sure, you are fine? We can stop the plan here for now." Rose has a worried expression on her face.

"No! I work hard for who I am now and I am going to show them that I am a strong woman!"

"Okay then. Now, let's quickly go backstage. William is at the stage now delivering his speech."

"Good luck to you." She held my hand and led me to the backstage and said.

"Thank you."

We say our goodbyes to each other and she went back to the party to find her mate.

Rose mate happens to be one of Blake's pack members and good friends but she has not mentioned his name to me yet which I am planning to find out later.

I walked to the curtain to listen to William's speech as it was difficult to see the audience.

"It is an honour to have the Blue Moon Crescent Pack to join us today. We will like to give you a surprise by allowing our one and only singer, Rebecca Wilson. She will be singing for us Kill Em With Kindness, please clap for her!" I heard him saying.

I saw William walk down and walk his way to Blake.

BLAKE POV

When Alpha William was about to deliver his speech, there was this smell that was so familiar to me. It was so strong that I looked around the party to find it but could not find it at all.

Thousands of questions were in my head.

"Where did I smell this before?"

"Who is it?"

"Why am I attracted to it?"

I try to focus on Alpha Blake's speech until he says the part whereby he is presenting to us a surprise by having a singer singing for us. When he said the name of the singer, the wolf inside me was excited but I did not know the reason why he was acting up because he did not want to tell me.

That is when the singer walked to the stage and all the memories came back to me when I found out the news that she was dead.

BELLE/REBECCA POV

"OMG! Did I hear wrong that it is a famous singer and model?" I heard loud gasps and heard some people saying.

I calm myself and say to myself, "Be strong, you can do this! Show them who you are!" I walk confidently to the microphone stand on the stage. I notice many people clapping for me.

I followed the scent of the smell and looked in the direction of my mate and saw that he had a shocked expression. I smirked at him and focused on other people and nodded my head to the musician to start the music.

I began to tap my hand on the microphone to follow the tempo. And I sang:

"It is a pleasure to have me singing for you. Thank you!" I sang till the end of my song and said.

With that, I walked to the backstage and William's beta took over.

I mind linking Wiliam saying, "I am going to your side now."

William mind links me, "Ok, it's going to be fun, babe."

I chuckled at his words and went to the party floor. I spot William and my mate and I walk towards them.

When they notice my presence, they turn their head in my direction, admiring my beauty.

"Alpha Blake, this is Rebecca Wilson, my girlfriend. And Rebecca, this is Alpha Blake, The Alpha of Blue Moon Crescent pack." I walked to William and he wraps his hand around my waist and says.

I say confidently hiding my shaking voice, "Nice to meet you, Alpha Blake."

I held out my hand waiting for his hand to shake. He looked shocked for a while till he masked his expression and held my hand to shake. When he held my hand, I felt the adrenaline in me to pull him closer to me. I quickly bring myself out of my thoughts and pull my hand away from him.

I noticed him frowning and ignored him.

"How was the photoshoot? Was it tiring?" William put his hand on my chin and moved my face to face him.

"Yah it was tiring but the good thing was that Mr Plo wants to meet with me again!"

"That's great! I am proud of you." William kissed my forehead.

Before William can finish his sentence, Blake clears his throat loudly and both of us turn our head to him.

"I am sorry Alpha Blake. You know how it feels like with someone you love," William says.

I notice that Blake was clenching his fists not liking William calling me his girlfriend.

"It's alright, I understand." He put on his fake smile.

When both of them were talking, I got bored and looked around the party. What caught my attention is two old couples who look like they are in their late 50s. I looked closely and saw that it was actually my parents.

I quickly look back at Blake and William, hoping that my parents will see me. But I did not realise that they have been looking at me since the moment I stood on stage.

I felt someone behind me and I heard a lady saying, "Belle, is that you?"

I look behind and lock eyes with the people that I love, no matter how much I hate them.
