Tracy's POV...
His familiar scent of sandalwood and cigarettes filled the room, announcing his presence as he stepped in.
"The place is beautiful as you described," he smiled, sitting opposite me. "And you, Tracy, you look just as stunning he beamed at me
"Thank you," I managed a smile, Not in the mood for his compliments.
"You seem moody, though," he pointed out, examining my face closely.
"Not really," I expressed.
"Mm-hmm," he hummed, still peering into my eyes.
"What?" I asked, suddenly feeling uncomfortable at the intensity of his gaze.
"I know that look on your face," he smiled, leaning into his chair.
"What look,"
"Something is bothering you again, or maybe... someone?" He smirked.
_look at him acting all innocent._
<Garvin's POV. I sat rooted to the spot as I watched Tracy leave the restaurant. Everything that happened still seemed like a movie. I knew I was wrong to have created the account without her permission, but I didn't think she would take it as she did. Only the moon goddess knows what plan she has up her sleeves. Tapping away on my phone, Lisa's number wasn't reachable, and I finally decided to stand up and go after her. I gestured to the waiter for the bill, but Tracy had already handled it, so I tipped him instead. Limping out of the restaurant and into my car, I was driving at a ridiculously high speed till I got into my house. Dashing out of the car and into the house, "Lisa!!," I called out the minute I came in. "Sir, Garvin, you called me?" "Where is Tracy?" I inquired. "She has left," "What do you mean she has left," "Sir Garvin, Miss Tracy has left, and she left with Kian," she said sadly, "what went wrong? Did it happen between you both?" She added, peering into
Tracy's POV"Alright, Kian, let's go have your shower now," I pulled him by the arm, dragging him to the bathroom."But momma, you are yet to tell what went wrong?" He inquired, his innocent eyes searching my face."Kian, nothing happened, I promise you," I assured."But then why?" He pressed."Why what, my love?""Why do we have to move out? I know you won't tell me, but I know something is up with you and Uncle Garvin," crossing his arms, his gaze growing more intense by the minute."What do you mean, Kian," I asked ignorantly, lathering up the sponge."Most times," he breathed, " I sneak downstairs when you don't come to wish me good night."_Most times, he does what!!!_"What do you come downstairs to do?" My voice grew thicker.
Garvin's POVThe search throughout the entire city had been thorough. Alder had combed through the whole hotel till we finally found a hint. A certain Freya Cobalt checked in when the encounter between Tracy And I occurred."Have you found the hotel where she stays?" I inquired the minute I was able to reach Adler on the phone. He was my least favourite person to send on serious tasks, but in this situation, he seemed to be my only hope since Tracy had yet to meet him."Yes, sir, but I can't discuss matters like this over the phone," he said solemnly, clearing his throat, "I will get back to you, sir,"."Alright," I nodded as though he were here to see that. MY night had been miserably long, and even worse was the meeting I was forced to sit through. What business did I have with how long the maternity leave given to women was meant to last? And the water supply? I mean, people are assigned to carry out that specific duty, so why must I be involved? But if there is one thing the mee
Tracy's POV"Hunter, what are you doing here?" I questioned, my tone demanding."Shush, the tone of your voice makes it look like you were kidnapped." He chuckled, his smile warm and soothing."What are you doing here," I demanded in a much lower tone."Looking for you?" He looked half amused, raising an eyebrow at me._Is Hunter looking for me? From what I can remember is even more wicked than Kia is_"And why are you looking for me?" I pressed, " Let me guess, Kia sent you here?""Not at all. I am here on my own." He protested."Okay?""Can we please sit somewhere? There is something I would like to discuss with you.""If you said so," I agree, "Montero's kitchen is right across the street. I was heading t
Garvin POV"Adler, make sure there are no traces or evidence that point back to us to you understand?" I demanded while descending the stairs. I had decided that it would be suspicious to call Tracy first. "Yes sir," he nodded"My Alpha, you have a visitor," Lisa announced. The door opened to reveal Tracy.Bingo! I beamed."Adler, we will have this meeting next time," I declared, my eyes not leaving her as I waved him off, "goodbye for now.""Yes, Alpha Garvin, I'll just take my leave, sir." Adler bowed slightly before leaving."well, look what we've got right here, Tracy," I smiled, walking towards her."Alpha Garvin," she greeted, her voice carrying a tinge of sadness, " sorry to bother you. I heard you were in a meeting with Adler"._its barely twelve hours, and she is already addressing me as Alpha?_"Tracy, why," I began, slapping my hand to my head... "I've always warned you not to call me Alpha Garvin. You should refer to me as Garvin. I thought that we were cool with that"."
Tracy's POV"You can not come, Tracy. Are you deaf," Garvin yelled at me. But I was still undeterred. It was my son that was inside there."Maybe I am," I sneered, "you can't just go and leave me here; I need to protect my child.""Tracy, you will alert the --The sound of a gunshot came, cutting Garvin's words Short."Tracy, go low quickly," Garvin yelled, and I fell flat on my stomach.Turning to the security we brought along with us, his voice low and authoritative,"Sylvia, instruct them. You guys can go through the back." He ordered, watching the environment as they disappeared into the back of the building. "Tracy, hold on to the Hem of my shirt and follow behind me. Ensure not to make any sound"."I won't," I nodded. _not when my son's life is at stake. I would willingly
Tracy's POV "You say what now?" I blurted out, my hands shivering as I took the phone from Lisa. "A certain Hunter is calling you." She repeated, studying my face carefully. "Um, Lisa, excuse me, let me go take this," I expressed, walking out of the kitchen and to a far corner of the living room. "Alright, miss" Turning back at intervals to ensure no one was coming behind me, taking a deep breath, I pressed the answer button. "Hello," my voice came out in almost a whisper. "Tracy Murphy, am I right?" Hunter's hollow voice came from the other end. "How did you get my number?" I sneered. "You seem to be forgetting that I am quite capable here," he chuckled lightly, "Plus, you own a company. Your contact info is on your flyer, out on display," he made it seem like it was just common sense. "Ohh," I managed, smacking myself in the head internally. _I should get a new flyer invented and a change of contact info, or I could get a new SIM because only the moon goddess knows how m
Tracy's POV"You are up quite early Tracy," Garvin remarked as I descended the stairs, rubbing my eyes as I did."Um, yes," I answered as soon I got close enough, "it's been a while since I visited the company. I, um, want to go find out how things are going over there in the office," I completed, yawning once more."Ohh, you need a ride or-"No, not at all," I interjected, " Um, I would go fabric shopping as well. You know it's best to dress and appear as neutral as possible to blend in at the market." I explained, making pointless hand gestures."Ohh, okay." He nodded slowly. He was paying keen attention to my body movements._did I seem all too jumpy? I hope he does not notice anything._"You are leaving now?" I inquired, noticing for the first time since I got down that he was dressed in a dark green suit and a chalk-white button-down shirt. His hair was permed, and I could see streaks of light brown highlights in them."You look outstanding," I added, instantly regretting my comm
