His familiar scent of sandalwood and cigarettes filled the room, announcing his presence as he stepped in.

"You seem moody, though," he pointed out, examining my face closely.
"Not really," I expressed.

"What?" I asked, suddenly feeling uncomfortable at the intensity of his gaze.
"I know that look on your face," he smiled, leaning into his chair.
