Sebastian pleaded, his heart visibly breaking with every single moment that passed by without her saying anything. My heart hurt within me at the sight, my entire body acutely aware of the fear that was radiating from the young woman who had scooted to the very corner of her bed, her hands wrapping around herself in efforts to keep her safe from any eventuality.
It was clear that she was not prepared for the situation she had been thrust into. In as much as I hated that she was hurting Sebastian, I also understood her worries. She was in a foreign place with foreign people around her, two of whom she had encountered but had barely talked to.
She's afraid and we aren't helping by gathering together the way we have...
