Jamie and Jake come out of the room and when they close the door they don’t see me. Jamie turns to Jake, “I don’t understand why he’s sending us out,” Jamie growls in frustration.
“I don’t know what he’s thinking but I don’t think leaving them alone in there is a good idea. I’ve said my piece but Alpha has sent us out. It doesn’t matter if he’s my friend, and your brother, above all else he is our Alpha and what he commands is law,” Jake says.

Kacie When I left them I’d hoped that Viktor would come running after me but he didn’t. The sky was black and the stars went on and on and I wanted to get lost in it.
