SHE DOESN’T KNOW anything about the Lycans. She doesn't want to gamble for her conscience.
"What’s your name?” the woman asked her again.
“Name?” Lirah acted as if she was asking herself before she looked at the couple. “What is my name? I—I don’t know…”
They look at Lirah with disbelief. Looks like they didn't buy it but she needs to stand with her words and continue what she has started.
“You don’t know?”
The Lycan couple looked at each other occasionally. Both were estimating what they were going to say again. On the other side, Lirah is reading the next move of the couple. Even the hunger that she had been feeling for a while has been completely forgotten. She needs to visit his grandmother who is the sister of her late grandmother. She is the only one who could help her. To do that, she needs to get out of this place safely.
Before her late grandparents died, they strictly instructed her that if something bad happened, she must visit the remaining family that they had.
"We will think about a suitable name for you. Is that alright with you?"
Lirah just nods her head and pretends that she’s happy with how they are accommodating her. She had to win them over by putting her low profile.
"She looks hungry, dear. Bring her some delicious food!" Baron said happily.
The woman quickly obeyed what her husband ordered.
Lirah stays watching her surroundings and not letting her guard down. She remembered what her late grandparents told her. If she ever visited someone's house, no matter what, if she doesn’t know them, don’t eat, and drink what they offer. She must have politely refused.
When the woman was about to put down the plate, she heard a loud howl coming from the woods. Automatically, the husband looks up at the sky.
Lirah frowned. She can’t see the moon clearly but the sky is red! She heard the animals making a chaotic noise in the forest. Birds also flew like they were panicking and this is a bad sign. She knows that there’s something bad going to happen.
Lirah was shaken by deep worry when she heard a chilling sound coming from the Lycan woman. Her nails slowly grew longer and dug into the table. Like she’s transforming but pain took over her.
“W-what was happening?” Lirah asked Baron.
Lirah's chest rumbled loudly when she noticed that even the male Lycan had become the same as the woman—they were in agony and didn't know what to do with the pain that they were feeling right now.
“W-we can’t control ourselves!” Baron admitted as he shouted from pain.
"Baron!" Someone knocked harshly on the door of the house. The voice is so loud and growling. "I know you and your wife are there, and I also know that the girl I'm going to marry is awake!" with every pause in its speech, there seemed to be felt the pain too.
“It’s the Lycan…” Lirah said quietly. She couldn’t think straight. Her body trembled in fear. She also felt her intense sweat.
Her feet moved spontaneously away from the couple. Being naive and afraid wouldn’t help her. She must come to her senses and do something!
She will not accept the fact that she’s going to die here helplessly. She did not survive just to die. She must know what happened to Aro. She must know what are the creatures who hunt them and hurt her man. That’s her mission and she will fulfill it no matter what!
Lirah heard the big footsteps coming from the outside. Seems like the Lycan is not just one but many.
“The help that we gave is enough. You must run away from the Lycans! You have caused a lot of trouble to my wife and I. While I can still have the strength to stop myself and my wife—go away!"
Lirah starts to cry. She felt like she could feel the pain while they were in the process of shape-shifting. Even if she treats them as her enemies, she still feels empathy. She’s also aware that if they didn’t help her, she couldn’t last long inside the forest.
“Run at the backdoor!” Baron shouted while preventing his wife from getting close to her so she would not be hurt. “Run!”
“T-thank you!” she blurted out after she found herself running away and going in the direction of the man instructed. She needs to believe them even if she’s not sure if they are her allies. That’s her only option for now.
Lirah didn't know how far she had to run. The only thing on her mind is to escape.
The tunnel that they dig is far from what she could imagine. She felt her sweat coming out. That's why she needed to wipe it with the brown dress she was wearing from time to time.
When she’s about to pass out, Lirah finds hope when she sees the door that Baron was talking about. That’s it! She will be safe in a minute!
Just when Lirah was about to open the door, she screamed when Monique pulled her and lifted her into the air as if she was just a piece of paper while coming out of the tunnel! She also felt like her arm was going to tear apart when her claws dug into her flesh as the Lycan bit her aggressively on the neck!
Lirah wants to fight for her life and do something with her situation but her strength and body couldn’t agree with her no matter how much she tries to slip away…
When she feels like she’s going to die, someone throws the Lycans aggressively without even touching her!
She was the first to fall, that's why she barely hit the ground which she’s thankful for but the bite of the Lycan on her neck is unbearable. She felt like her blood would be lost at any moment.
In just a bit of a minute, Lirah couldn’t feel her body anymore. The pain squeezing in her flesh that she felt was an unimaginable cold which made her think that she’s going to pass out.
No matter what the situation she’s fighting for, Lirah couldn’t take her eyes away from her savior…
Just by the words he spoke, the Lycan seemed to be in a lot of pain while her body floated in the air! Lirah just stared at him as her eyes were full of tears before she passed out…
ARO LEANING HISback like a king to his chair where an alpha is the only one who can sit. He’s wearing nothing from his top which gives access to anyone to see his fit masculine body as if it was carved by the best sculptor. The different scars made by claws are visible on his skin. This will prove that he didn’t climb up to where he is easily.
WHEN THE VAMPIREentered, the wolves inside the hall became aggressive. Anger can be seen immediately in them while their mortal enemy is in the middle of the mansion. The others are restraining themselves from making a move and tearing the vampire apart.War can happen if Aro says something. The moment that he speaks
“DID YOU FORGOT the reason why you are here?”Lirah didn’t answer immediately, she just looked at her because she was mesmerized by her beauty. The woman in front of her has this ethereal beauty that captivates all who are fortunate enough to gaze upon her radiant presence. She has long black lashes that match her thick eyebrows and doll-doe eyes. She also has pearl-like skin that she’s sure is so bouncy just enough for her to think that her bath is some kind of special fresh milk. She also has long black wavy hair that goes up to her waist. Her body is hugging this long white dress that reaches up to her knees while wearing nothing to her feet.“Y-you’re beautiful…” she commented without even thinking.
SHE DOESN’T KNOW what she’s doing with her life. Why does she continue to fight and live after all the things that happened to her? She can now think that even the world has turned away from her, but just for one reason, here she is again, ready to fight like what she’s going to face is nothing. She’s tired. Hallucinating. Walking like there is no tomorrow and following the road that seems to be no end.“I’m really crazy…” Lirah wants to scold herself but at the same time tolerates her craziness. “I have a hundred reasons to surrender, but with just one reason, I am here fighting with my life all over again.”The mysterious woman that she met gave her instructions on what she was going to do to continue living. Because she’s no
LIRAH FELT LIKE she’s in the longest run of her life. She couldn’t even remember how long she had been running in the darkness. She couldn’t count if it had happened for a long time because she might end up being crazy if this continued.Lirah wanted to escape as soon as possible but didn't know how. She didn't want to be in an unending darkness with no light that even her own hand could not allow her to see. It’s a torture for her.She calls almost all the goddesses that she knows. She’s praying that they can free her. Above all, she doesn’t want to be alone anymore because Lirah does not have a companion by her side. She couldn’t count how long she was in that darkest place. She doesn’t want to cry anymore, but how could she do that if this is the on
LIRAH WOKE UP from the smell of fresh cinnamon greeting her nose. She’s starting to get used to it after staying in Nana’s place for a week. She’s so curious why they always begin their day by allowing the smoke of cinnamon to flow through the whole house. Later on, they answer her that it is a good luck enhancer that will make the day productive, especially for the witch's practice. It’s so hard for her to understand some unnatural things that happened and in practice in this place first. Everything was new to her, but she trained herself to follow and understand everything. She had to respect them. Also, she couldn’t help but get shy with the people living inside the house. She always gets them into trouble whenever she tries to help. That's the least she can do.
LIRAH COULDN’T BELIEVE that the powerful witch and the third leader of the coven had visited her the other day. She got scared at first and felt like an important person later on. To have a welcome visit by one of the powerful witch spirits is something that she can brag about. Because why not? She’s a normal human being with no ability to be special at all.Lirah tried to understand what she felt the moment that she stepped on the part that she was restraining to go to the moment that she woke up.Nana said that her house and yard had a protecting spell that would conceal them from the world. The house they live in is both a shelter and sanctuary for the next leaders of the coven. To have this house that is specially given to the leader means that she’s capable of protecting all the spells and potions that have been mad
LIRAH IS STILL bothered about what she saw yesterday. The girl's reaction keeps replaying in her mind over and over again. She’s sure about what she saw—the smell of her bloody neck, the girl was not on herself and Joanne’s reaction as if she knew what was going on in that dark alley that she called a wet market.“She doesn't want me to find out…” she whispered softly while combing the hair of Titania—Nana’s cat that always comes to her room whenever she’s inside the house. “It’s for my own good.”Joanne was not around. She’s in the mountain that she pointed out yesterday. Nana said she had something important to do, but she didn’t give her much more detail, but it keeps hanging on her mind that yesterday's incident is the reason why the two are avoiding her.&n
