Xavier's P. O. V

I gripped my steering wheel as I got only closer to the destination. In all my years of living, nothing has made me more uncomfortable than this.

I clenched my jaw and took in a sharp breath before swallowing the thickness in my throat. The building started clearing one by one before the institution stood in solitude in the distance.

I pulled into the parking space at the back. Before I got out I counted one, two, and three breaths.

I fixed my suit on my body before stepping out of the car one foot after the other. I stood up and looked around as my confidence filled me once again.

I hadn't forgotten an inch of this place. The wide glass windows, five-story buildings, and modern architecture. I once worked for it, now it works for me.

In a few seconds, a lady who seemed to be in charge came to show me around. I honestly didn't pay an inch of attention. I spent all that time thinking about the first thing I would say to Sierra the moment I see her.
