Chapter 164 - Videos of Them..
I purposely took a longer shower than I needed. I still wanted to feel him in my life, even if he was downstairs making lunch. If only I could slow down the time.. The only thing I could do now was to face the fact that I wouldn't have Damian anymore after lunch.
I braced myself and went downstairs to meet him. He was already sitting in the dining room, with the food ready on the table. I sat in front of him, as per usual, and he began eating. I had no mood to eat, so I just moved my food around with my spoon.
“Baby girl, you need to eat.” His hand shot out to cover my right hand, giving it a squeeze before pulling away.
That was when I saw it - his left ring finger was bare. He wasn’t wearing the ring I had given him. When did he take it off? Why didn’t I notice it? My hand went to clutch my broken heart.
“Please eat, Baby girl.” His voice was gentle, which hurt me more.
