Chapter 213 - Blaming Rai

Once the plane landed, I went to the taxi queue and got into a taxi, letting the driver know of my destination - the cemetery complex where Rai was buried. I also messaged Rai’s mom to let her know where I was going and to tell gee that I would let her know when I’d reached home.

I couldn't care less that I felt myself nearly passing out several times because of the pain in my body. I endured it just to talk to Rai.

Reaching the cemetery, I proceeded to Rai’s grave. I knelt beside his tombstone and caressed his picture. It was a great picture of him, showing his gentle side.

Looking at the picture of Rai smiling gently, I felt all my strength, bravery, and defenses crumbling, and I broke down. My tears ran down fast and heavy, like a dam that just broke.

“Rai.. I.. I’ve done something very bad. I betrayed Damian, and now he hates me..” I talked to him.

“He hates me so much, Rai. He’s disgusted by me,” I continued as I sobbe
