Chapter 38: Mrs Garcia Arrested - Part 1

"I will teach this snake not to crawl to places where sticks are easy to come by," she thought as she walked into the police station.

"Hello, I would like to speak with the in-charge?' she requested standing at the front desk

"You are looking at him. Inspector General Davis. What can I do for you?" he asked resting his elbow on the desk

"I am here to report an attempted murder," Mrs Garcia replied making the inspector raise an eyebrow

"Okay, I am listening," he said and Mrs Garcia's eyes shifted to the other person standing behind the desk with the inspector also listening attentively

"The bigger the audience the bigger the shame," she thought and shifted her gaze back to the inspector general

"Mr Carter and his son's accident was no accident. Someone was behind it," she began

"And you happen to know who?" the inspector asked and another officer joined them at the front desk

The station was busy as officers move in and out of rooms and arrested people were paraded into the stations
