Chapter 56: Suspicion

Afterward, day by day, Samuel kept showing how much he cared for Amy. He was quite protective of her. She was over the moon. Though Samuel had never said he loved her, Amy was sure he loved her. However, a constant calling whom he frequently dismissed raised her suspicion.

When she asked him, he only replied that they were unimportant calls. However, since it was more frequent lately, Amy found it odd. One day, after Samuel arrived home, he took a shower and Amy took his phone on the table. She smiled to see her husband used the photo of them as his wallpaper. But then, she furrowed her forehead to see Cecilia’s name on the miss calls.

Amy put his phone back on the table and shook her head. Her husband was quite caring for her. No way he would have an affair with Cecilia. But it was odd he kept ignoring Cecilia’s calls.
