Chapter 20

Nathan was still staring at Rose when they were in the hospital hallway. The little girl next to him was really beautiful, especially when looking at her soft and delicate facial features. She wasn't very tall, but she had the average height of a girl her age. It made her body look a little more petite but it did not diminish Rose's beauty in the slightest. More than that her body was too tempting to be owned by a girl with an innocent face like Rose.

"Why didn't you tell your mom the truth?"

Nath asked when they were out of the hospital, then went to the nearest bank that was still open at the last second to cash the check into money that would fill Rose's account. The girl gave him an incredulous look. It was as if she was saying that Nath was joking and it wasn't funny at all.

"Your question is strange." Rose sneered. "What girl would tell her mother that she's now a man's mistress?"

Nathan nodded. What Rose had said wasn't wrong. Maybe it was her understanding of family
