I frown as I see the missed calls from Brandi. She’s called me five times today, but unless she’s going to keep her promise, I don’t want to speak to her. I shove my phone in my purse and slip out of my car. It’s been a long day, and I want to enjoy a nice bubble bath and forget about the long day.
