Ch48: I love you

My eyes opened wide as I looked at the man before me. Was he really okay upstairs? “Dave!“ I shouted angrily. How could he say such things to his fiancee, who was also my friend?

But Dave did not stop. He pulled me closer to him and looked into my eyes. “We have done this several times, honey. Are you still going to pretend that nothing is going on between us when she has all the evidence? I love you. I won't hide that from anyone…”

I felt so annoyed. First, Becky was there, and tears were already falling from her eyes. I sighed and turned to her. “Becky, just don't get it wrong. He keeps forcing it on me. Nothing is going on between us…”
