Ch73: I want to leave the country

At first, Dave did not want to believe that Mia would turn him down forever. He thought that she was just not ready, but she would give in to him with time.

But even after trying, her answer remained the same. The previous day, he had decided to leave just as a way of threatening her. He was expecting that she would be running to him after he kept some distance from her.

But when she called him in the morning, and he heard her crying, he felt bad. He had decided to go and find her.

For the first time, he decided to take a risk. Even if she could not say yes to him but accepted his flowers, it would mean that he still had some hope.

But little did he expect that he would actually find her crying in another man's embrace. That had made him feel so bad. He had wished to beat that man into pulp, but he had changed his mind in the end.

He decided to just let her do things that would make her happy. If she was happy being with Dan, then there was nothing that he, Dave, could do about it.
