Lexi’s POV

Things have been going on fine between Ivan and I and I couldn’t feel any more special. He does things that just makes my heart flutter and my stomach feels like the butterflies in it will just let themselves out.

I was still rummaging through my closet in search of what to wear when I heard my bedroom door open and close.

“I have nothing nice to wear.” I groaned as I turned around to see Ivan grinning from ear to ear and he had a bag of the most expensive designer clothes with him.

Just some days ago he’d told me that it was time to meet his friends and get to know them outside of work. Of course I was a little bit nervous but Ivan calmed me down and told me there was nothing to be worried about.

“I took care of that for you,” He pulled me closer to him as he kissed me while also carefully dropping the bag he had with him, “open it.” He smiled.
