1: Major Reason Of Wedding Bells

The newlywed bride was seated on the bed in the centre, all dressed up in the white fluffy princess gown waiting for her groom. The room was extravagant and exotic, the raven theme making it tempting enough to be stuck at the same point for several seconds. Her husband from a few hours back turned up to be excessively obsessed with black and now that she noticed, she had witnessed him in black almost all the juncture. Even his belongings had shades of black! What do we call that? Yes, black beauty! He was an undeclared black beauty.

Lilian swayed her feet back and forth, scanning the chamber with her eyes like a street canine searching for food. This was going to be the place where she was going to stay for a long time, maybe her whole life. Who knows?

"Why is he taking so much time? Is everything okay?" she wondered, tired of waiting for almost an hour now.

Getting up from the bed, the 26-year-old walked towards the window. She brushed the soft silky curtains, her hands dangling with them as she paid attention to the photo frame placed on the table beside the window. Picking up the glass material gently, her fingertips caressed the two faces grinning at her. It was Richard and Nia, in wedding dresses where the groom had picked up the bride high in the air, both of them smiling at their full hearts. She remembered the flowers in Nia's hand, the ones she had caught so effortlessly despite all the struggling bridesmaids. Never thought such things would also come true!

"Touching others' belongings without consent! You know that is bad manners, right?"

Internally cursing for the sudden fright, the woman in white gripped the frame tight against her chest after almost dropping it. She turned in the direction of the voice. Oh my god, he just scared her!

Richard Tucker was standing there, in the ebony rich suit, his tie a little loose as he gazed right into her soul.

"Oh... Yeah, sorry. I was just-"

"Your room is at the end of this hallway, closer to Aid's," he said, taking off his coat and not minding to let his bride complete her sentence.

Lilian just watched him, blank at how things were proceeding. Her mind was processing the circumstances and her eyes were unconsciously stuck on him, eyeing him throwing his coat and tie on the bed before laying himself with his mobile.

Lilian was now the second wife of Richard Tucker and she knew the reasons behind her matrimony but this young woman over here had a crush on that guy, the hard one! Would she be able to restrain her poor heart? Would he ever on even the slightest chance perhaps love her? She wondered.

Richard looked at his missis coldly, scowling his face at her, "What? You want me to show you the way or what?"

"S-sorry!" She shuttered, breaking eye contact as her feet worked unconsciously.

The bride started walking towards the exit door. For a few moments, she had forgotten what this marriage was all about. They wanted a replacement and she was bound by her parents. What else could she do when her fragile heart was at fault? After clarifying all the scenarios, her parents left the final decision to her. Lilian thought a lot but the crying sound pained her core and it reflected her decision. It was immaculately a replacement relationship!

"Lilian!"

Her heart almost detonated. Why did he call her? She veered around to face him with a little false hope in her heart!

Her husband's blue eyes pointed at her hand, asking her to look down. She pursued his gaze, finding the frame still in her grasp.

"Oh sorry," she muttered, taking a few steps towards him and passing the demanded thing in the already extended hand.

"Do you want anything?" He slammed at her face coldly. The girl had again got frozen, eyeing him for some unknown reason.

Coming back to reality, she shook her head and haphazardly walked out of the room, closing it behind her as she exited.

Lilian Evans who was now Lilian Richard Tucker sighed out big, looking at the long wide hallway. Maybe she had anticipated too much.

How could she even think that they would share a bedroom? The two of them already had a long talk on this affair and he clearly stated that their relationship would be purely contractual and nothing more than that. She wondered a lot of times, did she misstep by saying yes to this agreement? A loveless, monotonous life where your husband was just like a total stranger!

The bride walked with light feet along the hallway, looking sideways. She halted in front of the familiar room, holding the doorknob with her cold hands. Twisting it, she allowed herself inside, the colourful walls putting her heart at ease.

"Good evening madam," an elderly woman said, bowing a little.

Lilian just nodded, signalling her to keep her voice down. She ambled cautiously without making any noise, approaching a cradle. She crouched in front of it, looking at the two-month-old baby sleeping soundly like an angel. She stretched her hand, touching the soft squishy cheeks gently. Snow white skin with sharp facial features which resembled a lot like his father, this beautiful infant wrapped in a white feathery blanket was so innocent and pure to be stuck in the misfortune. Her heart ached for this child and he was one of the top reasons why she had agreed to this marriage.

This wedding was the embarkment of the motherly relationship she formed with this cute baby. A just 10 days old infant who had lost his mother, who used to keep crying despite everybody's efforts but had calmed down a little in her arms. The feeling was magical. Somewhere, she felt bonded with him and that's where she put her decision to the final.

"Sleep well Aid, sweet dreams," she muttered after kissing his crown gently with the motherly love nourishing inside her heart. The baby chapped his lips in his slumber, giving a subtle smile which tingled Lilian's heart. She felt like picking him up and showering him with kisses but she didn't want to intrude on his dreams at the same time. He was precious, her son was!

Lilian's hand searched for a device, wanting to click a picture of Aiden. This moment needed to be captured and she presumed to set it as her wallpaper. Unable to locate her mobile, realization struck her hard while her eyes stretched a little. She had forgotten her phone in Richard's room!
