"Calm down, Sweetie. I'm here," Aldo whispered.

Because of that, I held my head high as we entered the conference room. I feel every look of the people there. And I feel like they are disgusted with me even more.

"Tss, the audacity to act as if she's not just a secretary," I heard Addison whisper.

But I don't care. I even grinned when Aldo pulled out the chair and waited for me to sit down before going to his chair and arranging Arkan on his lap.

"Daddy, do I need to listen?" Arkan asked in a whisper.

"No, Buddy." He turned to Baron, who immediately came over and handed him the tablet he was holding, saying, "Here. You can play games here, Buddy."

"Alright, Daddy! I'll just turn off the sound."

When Arkan was busy, Aldo was just there to deal properly. I saw Mommy avert her gaze after looking at him; even Daddy was frowning.

"Before we start the meeting, may I call the attention of Mrs. Smith?" Mommy immediately turned around and acted without fear, saying, "You have something to say
