BAB 83 I I'll Take Her Away

Vero was standing in the middle of the Red Cage bar room, a place where all the Red Cage members usually gathered and spent their time drinking, playing chess, and billiards.

One of her legs moved from right to left or vice versa due to extreme nervousness. Her head looked around, at the rows of pictures, paintings on the walls and the furniture in the room.

This was the first time for her to enter the building, because not everyone could enter without the access granted by the members of the organization.

Mason who was currently patrolling the Red Cage just watched Vero silently. He was ordered to pick up the woman early in the morning and bring her here confused and frightened.

No matter how many times Mason comforted her, she would still cry and say she would not repeat the same mistake, even though Mason didn’t know what it was.

“You can sit down, Miss, because Mr. Bradwood will still be here in an hour,” said Mason.
