I sat on Damon's outside couch, sipping a cold beer and looked around. The garden surrounded the entire house and you couldn't even see a road from here. I drove away from the house with guilt eating me up. I wasn't sorry at first, I just wanted Tris to be safe. I couldn't bring her there, to the nest of the vipers.
