In the end, we agreed to discuss the Carleon issue further after Greg told Lana, because after all, this problem also concerned her.

"Getting Carleon to come here is not that easy," Nick said after Greg had gone home.

We had just put Elliot and Rosie to bed in their room. Lately, they had been able to sleep on the same schedule, whereas before I and Nick took turns watching the twins because of their different sleep schedules.

If Rosie slept, Elliot would wake up, and vice versa. Such a schedule had almost driven us crazy.

It was only this week that we finally got to sleep in the same room again. Before, one of us had to sleep in the twins' room just in case one of them woke up.

"Which one is easier? Kidnapping him or luring him to Manhattan?" I asked before throwing my body onto the bed and stretching my arms out to relax.

"Kidnapping him is definitely more troublesome than getting him to come here."
