Picking up the leftover food someone kept on the bench, Mike, distracted, broke them into tinier pieces for the ducks in the water. Seeing the attention he was giving them, the cute birds waffled closer to the edge of the fountain to have more of the food he was throwing to them.

Depressed, Mike could not suppress his guilt, he knew he had over reacted just now and he honestly wished he could take back all the harsh words he spat at her.
