Chapter 39

A Letter

IT'S BEEN two weeks since Rebeka, Uncle Arthur, and I met. And since then, my chest has seemed lighter. I felt real joy in my heart.

I have been visiting them once in a while in the new house I bought. I support them- financially. I also shoulder my uncle's therapists for his complete recovery.

As I watched a movie, I learned something about the word 'One More Chance'; It sounds like, do not hesitate to give second chances to the people we love. Forgiving and forgetting are the only ways to ease the pain.

Rebeka was sincere in apologizing. They are just a family I have right now. So, maybe I quickly forgave them. Especially Uncle Arthur.

I sighed as I remembered Magnus. Fortunately, he hasn't bothered me since our last conversation at the hospital. I'm more focused on avoiding him now, whether in a call or text.

Maybe, that person is also busy because he does not appear again.
