Jade should have been able to solve her company's problem with the card Frederick had given her. So, why would she still need to contact him in such an urgent manner?

"I'm not sure. But she came looking for us, hoping to get in touch with you. Unfortunately, we didn't have your phone number," Stella said. "I only remembered it because I saw you today."

Frederick said in a low voice, "Here's what I'll do. I'll leave my phone number with you, and you can pass it on to Jade. If there's anything, she can give me a call."

"Okay!" Malcolm and Stella nodded eagerly.

Soon, they were back home.

What puzzled Frederick was that Jennifer remained silent the whole way. She had ignored even his teasing. Her expression was cold, and it remained unchanged all the way.
