Chapter 83- Go

Cassandra's POV

"How are you?" He asked to break the silence that crossing all over us that makes the ambiance feels awkward. At all the question he's free to ask, why that? 

I mean, can't he see I'm struggling? Can't he see I'm hurt?

"Fine." I answered without looking into his eyes. I felt shiver on my vines when I felt his eyes laid on me. My neck seems to be stiffer as I try not to look at him. "Cass, that time--" I quickly stood up and my foot automatically kicked the stool I've been sitting automatically. 

I felt that disappointment and pain had return after he intended to bring up the topic but somehow, we are talking about it. 

And why the h*ck did I agree?

"Let go of the past, Jasper. What you have said is fine with me. And besides, who cares?" I gulped after saying a word against my heart. I felt my own heart breaking after saying a word I must not say.
