Chapter 95- Portal

Amira's POV

"Did you bring your phone?" The sun is already setting and the moon began to show up clearly. The fountain suddenly became very colorful reflected on the water. We are still on the bench, watching the new scenery in our eyes. Good thing Zeke brought a over sized jacket for both of us. 

"Nope." He answered. 

"Then, how are we going home? We have no flashlight. And also, they might have been looking for us. We were supposed to buy food." I awkwardly said making him look at me and laugh like I did throw a joke. 

"It's okay. There's still food there. They can cook." 

"But still, they will assume----" he cuted off my words by shutting my mouth with his index finger. He took a deep sigh and I can smell his always fresh breath. 

"Just let me spend this time with you." And that point, I understand. I just smiled at him and watch the few stars starting to show.
