Andrella’s POV
.
Knock...Knock
“Are you ready, Annie?”, I heard Cade’s voice from the other side of the door. I checked myself in the mirror for one more last time and quickly opened the door. As he said that we had to attend the party, I was finally ready. I had worn a long black gown with a sweetheart neckline matching the color of the three-piece suit which Cade would be wearing. He wanted to take me with him even though I was not invited because he wanted to make his father clear that no matter what he would end up choosing me.
I opened the door and found my man waiting for me. "You sure?", I asked to reconfirm his decision.
"Two hundred percent.", He replied, caressing my cheek. "I will always choose you, Annie. Always.", He stated
So what do you think who would have sent soul eater? Barrett or Lenora? Or Both?
Cade’s POV . I tried to control my anger which started forming inside me from the moment we entered the party. My father was glaring at Annie as if he wanted to eat her alive. I knew I took a high risk bringing Annie here again but I wanted to confirm everyone that she was the one and the only one. And also because I wanted to make everyone clear that harming her meant harming me and if I found anyone doing that, he or she would have to face my wrath. “Andrella, It feels so good to see you very much alive.”, My younger brother, Barrett smiled widely, looking at Annie. While I didn’t say anything to him but Annie smiled back at him. “I wish I could say the same.”, She replied, making me frown, and Barrett’s shoulders tensed. “Haha! Just kidding.”, She teased and I sighed in relief. For a m
Andrella’s POV.I was just hoping that the king wouldn’t create any issue this time. Because if he would keep rejecting me because of his stubbornness then he might end up losing his heir, as well as a son. Observing the king, I finally realized why Cade had an anger issue and why he was so stubborn! He and his father were like a mirror, they were so alike.“I wonder what is happening inside?”, Barrett asked looking in the direction where the king and the Cade had left. I hadn’t told Cade about his deed because I felt whatever Barrett did was out of anger that he had for me. After all, he lost his love, Trisla. But then, it was not completely my fault, was it?“I guess you better put yourself in Cade’s place as an heir because I don’t think Cad
Lenora’s POV . “Cade”, I smiled when I stopped near that couple and made a bold move by perking on Cade’s lips. Cade's shoulders tensed the moment I touched his lips and I smirked at my work but it didn’t last long when I saw that slut smiling even after seeing what I just did with Cade! I wanted others to judge her on the basis of her actions, how she would behave. So, I needed her to put in that situation in which she would end up embarrassing herself, and then she wouldn’t get any acceptance from the people of this world. But instead of doing anything...she was just smiling as if nothing happened a moment before. “Missed me, My ex-husband?”, I asked Cade innocently, trying to add fuel to that slut’s anger. Cade was about to open his mouth
Third Person’s POV..Holding a warm cup of tea, Grace slowly made her way on the terrace of her house. Taking a deep breath, she reveled for a moment in the fresh air of her small town, which was surrounded by nature. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to get lost in the moment, this was how she used to start her day. By losing herself in the beauty of nature, she used to forget all the problems of her life.Grace was 28 years old and the most beautiful girl in the small town. She had all the qualities which anyone would need in their wife but she always used to say a big NO to all the marriage proposals. Her parents were concerned about her because they were concerned about her as Grace was stressing too much to fulfill all the responsibilities of the family. She was blessed with three younger sisters and one younger brother which her parents planned with the hope of having a son. As all the sisters started growing up, it was getting harder fo
Cade’s POV . “Not again.”, Annie’s father glared at me when he saw his daughter unconscious in my arms. “What did you do now?” “Witch.”, I replied shortly, widening his eyes in shock. I took Annie to her room and placed her on the bed carefully and then removed her heels, making sure that she could get rest properly before turning toward her father. “Do you know any witch named Neena?”, I asked, recalling how my father whispered her name in shock though Annie was standing before him. I wanted to know what was happening with my bride as soon as possible. As far as I remembered, Annie told me that she had Scarlet’s power but she wouldn’t be able to use it then how the hell! Someone else took control of her body? .
Cade’s POV.I finally got permission to stay in Annie’s room even at night if I want. And all thanks to Crystal for that. She asked me to stop calling her Mrs. Cornell, either call her by her name or call her Mom.I chose the first option because I needed time to get accustomed to Annie’s family, who cared for one another for real. Right now, I was waiting for Annie in her room as her sister, Rebbac took her with herself to show her wedding gown.Knock...Knock!!“Andyyy…”, Her sister opened the door looking for her? She gave me a nervous smile and looked around. From her expression, I knew something was not right.“What is it?”, I quickly walked closer
Lily Salvatore’s POV . Coming from a powerful family, and a powerful demon, everyone feared me. People generally don’t stare at my eyes directly because I had the power of creating illusions. First, I crawled into their mind and searched for their fear and then made it like it really happened or happening with them. I was known as the one who could turn people mad. My ancestors told me to visit the king urgently. I wondered why the king of the spirit world wanted to meet me? I guess I already knew the answer to my question. I had heard his heir choosing a newbie demon. Let’s just see. He knew I would help him after all we were kind of family friends.
Cade’s POV . “Annie, please tell me something.”, I asked again because I knew something was eating her up but she was not sharing that with me. I started feeling frustrated by this feeling since I used to be the one who used to handle everything, but this time, I had no idea how my bride was exactly feeling, and trust me this feeling was making me feel like shit. I felt weak. “Please”, I requested again. She sighed before speaking, “I am sorry for making me feel like this, Cade. And I know I should have talked with you about this before but I don’t think it’s that late.”, She paused for a while and then continued. “From the last few days, I am not able to remember my memories. It feels like those incidents are not true, especially the fact that you cheated on me.” SILENCE.
