Gérard laughed and patted her long hair. “Don’t worry, he’s just a nice alpha.”

I wasn’t nice.

“He’s tired from a lot of work, that’s why he’s like that.” He persuaded her.

And the idiot really listened to her brother and happily hugged him like a kid who just won candy for doing well.

To my surprise, she waved at me before leaving. “Have a good night, Adolph. Don’t let the bugs bite you, sweet dreams.”

Huh, was she saying all those words to me? Bugs? Dreams? I scoffed and nearly laughed at her funny expression.

“Gorgeous, it’s time for bed.”

He then carried her in his arms as she tagged along with him, giggling.

As they walked away, she waved at me once again and wrapped her little arms around Gérard’s neck.

Wow! She was a spoiled brat.
