Lydia pondered for a few seconds without saying anything, but got up and walked out, motioning for me to follow them.

Where were they going? I didn't want to go with them at all!

After so long, hadn't anyone noticed anything wrong here? Or the situation was so critical that they didn't have chance to deal with it.

My mind was in a mess. Thinking that Pearl and others might be facing a crisis of life and death at this moment, I was anxious.

"Why do you stand still ? Do you want to stay here forever?"

I didn't speak, but silently raised my legs and followed. I didn't really want to follow Lydia to the human city. I just pretended to be obedient. I planned to run away after I get out of the house.
