16. SHE IS A HEALER

That night,

Lucian entered his residence late at night. He walked straight towards his room and then witnessed Nina sleeping peacefully.

The moment when he saw her sleeping like that, he didn't know why, but he smiled. But then, the next moment, he looked at his right hand which was bleeding and he rolled his eyes.

"Fuck it, I need a drink," he scoffed and walked towards the bar. He tried to pour himself a drink, but due to the injury in his hand, he was unable to do so and thus he ended up making a mess.

Nina's slumber halted due to the clinking of glasses. She opened her eyes and looked at Lucian, who was struggling with the alcohol bottle with his injured hands.

"What the fuck are you doing," she snapped and then walked out of the bed, towards him.

She stood in front of him, glaring at him angrily.

"You go to sleep, I will manage," Lucian tried to shrug her off.

"How would I sleep if you keep on making noises," she rolled her eyes but then, her eyes fell on Lucian's injured hand.
